Break-In At The Grow Organisation

The Grow Organisation, based on Bowthorpe Road, has been devastated by a break-in that saw thousands of pounds worth of equipment and property stolen and damaged.

The not-for-profit organisation delivers gardening projects with the aim of helping people who are suffering from mental health issues such as PTSD. The Grow Hub delivers well-being activities to the local community, veterans and emergency service personnel whilst The Mow and Grow social enterprise delivers garden services to vulnerable people in the area.

The recent raid has left the organisation reeling. Alex Cosgrove, Chief Executive of The Grow Organisation, reported that “We are still in the process of counting losses and digesting this incident.” however they are already working hard to try and find a way to continue to provide this support and lessen the impact this will have on all the vulnerable members who benefit from the services and activities provided by The Grow Organisation.
