Trips Out & Activities For Families & Young People.

We organise subsidised trips and activities for young people and families during school holidays to promote social inclusion and accessibility.

Welcome to Henderson Trust

For over 20 years, Henderson Trust has been dedicated to a single mission: improving the lives and opportunities of everyone living in NR5. From North and West Earlham to Larkman and Marlpit, we are proud to support a vibrant community that makes up nearly 9% of Norwich’s population.

We believe in the power of local people. As a community-led charity, our heart is right here in the neighbourhood—in fact, the majority of our Board of Trustees, staff and volunteers live in NR5 themselves.

By working hand-in-hand with residents and local partners, we act as a catalyst for change. Whether we are tackling economic hurdles, reducing isolation or improving health outcomes, Henderson Trust is here to create new opportunities and build a stronger, brighter future for our neighbourhood. We strive to break down barriers and build a stronger, healthier future for every neighbour.

Driven by our mission to create positive change, we have launched and supported numerous projects. Our work touches on many areas of community life including health, education, the local environment and training. Just a few of our achievements include…

  • Ensuring young people and families have access to enriching trips and experiences that might otherwise be out of reach.
  • Tackling loneliness and isolation by bringing people together through community activities.
  • Helping young people build their confidence and skills.
  • Caring for and maintaining the 25-acre Henderson Park, giving residents a beautiful, bio-diverse green space to enjoy.
  • Creating employment and business opportunities in the heart of the community.
