Skatepark Closing.
Recently there have been several issues with the Skatepark at Henderson Community Park that have led to us having to close the park and remove the equipment. The Skatepark is now over 15 years old and is simply wearing out, and we don’t want it to become dangerous!
Unfortunately, as of Wednesday 8th May we will begin removing the equipment. We realise this will be disappointing for many people, we are also disappointed. We are currently looking at options for replacing the equipment, but it is very expensive and will take us some
time to work out if, and how, we can do this. We will keep the community updated about the Skatepark and would like to let you know that the rest of the park is open as normal.
